The e-watchman.com discussion board; e-Jehovahs-Witnesses.com What is it really all about?
The e-watchman.com web site represents itself as serving Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. But is that really so? The site owners present themselves as concerned persons caring for Jehovah's sheep. They portray themselves as honest hearted ones shocked and dismayed by the Watchtower, and it's bad deeds. But are they really as they appear, or are they wolves in sheep's clothing? Are they telling the truth or are they false prophets? If indeed there has been some wrongdoing by some in the WTBTS, is that a reason to throw away the faith? If so, then was the faith really in Jehovah God or men?
One of the nasty effects of association at the e-watchman.com web site is a gradual loss of faith in the basic teachings of the bible. We have seen active Jehovah's Witnesses read e-watchman.com , join the discussion board; e-jehovahs-witnesses.com , and within a matter of months have their faith completely overthrown. Such people can be found at other apostate sites now praying to Jesus or teaching and following other practices of Christendom. In some cases JW's who associated with e-watchman.com have even been led away to following two-bit cult leaders like Donald Burney. (Who's teachings are strangely similar to e-watchman)
For years now, e-watchman.com has been associated with another site owned and operated by Morloc (AKA Timothy Kline) called pathways. E-watchman.com 's discussion board; e-jehovahs-witnesses (long known as the Paradise Cafe) has been long considered as a sister site to pathways. Pathways is a site also owned and operated by Morloc. It is a site where praying to Jesus is promoted, and where every self appointed bible scholar is teaching some new twist of the scriptures as applied to the faith of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have added so many twists in fact; that they appear to have returned back to Christendom. Some there are teaching the trinity and even the possibility that Jehovah may draw some anointed ones from the sects of Islam.
There are some things which are not as they appear. There are others that are exactly as they appear. Knowing the difference is the key to understanding what is happening at e-watchman.com , e-jehovahs-witnesses.com and other web sites operated by e-watchman, Timothy Kline, Robert King and Walter Reyes. They are pretending to be Jehovah's Witnesses. They are pretending to care about Jehovah's Witnesses and their faith. But a careful review of what they teach, the subjects they discuss, and the effects of associating with them have had on Jehovah's Witnesses gives us powerful reasons to refrain from going to those sites for fear of being led into apostasy and shipwreck of our faith.
Lets ask then: What are the fruits of the e-watchman.com site and the e-jehovahs-witnesses.com discussion board? It is just as Jesus said at Matt 7:15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].
This is really the standard by which we must measure all those who would be teaching us or persuading us to follow along with them in a course which is guaranteed to change our spiritual life and destiny for ever. They expect faithful witnesses of Jehovah to drop the faith and follow them. Why? Because they say they are offering the brothers and sisters freedom. But remember that this false promise isn't new. Why, this happened in Apostle Peter's day also. 2Peter 2:19 While they are promising them freedom, they themselves are existing as slaves of corruption. For whoever is overcome by another is enslaved by this one. 20 Certainly if, after having escaped from the defilements of the world by an accurate knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they get involved again with these very things and are overcome, the final conditions have become worse for them than the first.
So really, if we learned Jehovah's name and about His Kingdom. Then we left Christendom for the truth of Jehovah's word; are we really going back to Christendom and throw away the truth and faith we have treasured, just because some guys in Brooklyn sinned against Jehovah? Is that why we would let the likes of e-watchman, Timothy Kline (Morloc), or Donald Burney lead us away from Jehovah God and the faith? How sad. Just as 2Peter 2 continues: 20 Certainly if, after having escaped from the defilements of the world by an accurate knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they get involved again with these very things and are overcome, the final conditions have become worse for them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it accurately to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 The saying of the true proverb has happened to them: “The dog has returned to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire.”
So then again we must ask ourselves in connection with Matt 7:15, "What are their fruits?" This question will be answered in the next posting. It is important to remember What Jesus said here: 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]. So then next time, we will give consideration to that question: What are their fruits?
